The Hague PH100 Mini Remote Control Pan & Tilt Camera Powerhead version 2 is ideal for small handheld camcorders, compact cameras, small DSLRs, miniature cameras and action cameras such as the GoPro.
The Powerhead can be mounted to a tripod, jib, crane, beam or wall bracket either vertically or underslung and it supports up to 1kg. It is supplied with a control box which allows the user to adjust the speed and direction of the head with the capability to pan & tilt through 360°.
Pan & Tilt Powerhead
The Hague PH100 Powerhead will pan and tilt through 360 degrees, this enables the camera to point directly up or down as required. It is powered by two powerful geared motors, with the camera’s tilt being belt driven, and this ensures the head provides a very smooth movement with minimum backlash.
The camera plate on the tilt drive has three mounting positions for the different sizes of camera which enables the camera to be correctly balanced. With all DSLR cameras it is essential that they are correctly balanced, and this can be more difficult depending upon the lens used, so we would recommend the BCP Balance Correction Plate which is listed as a related product below.
The speed of movement is variable, from the slowest crawl up to 24 degrees per second (0 to 4RPM). The drive motors are reasonably quiet, but will be heard if the camera’s onboard microphone is used in quiet locations (similar to most powerheads on the market). The Head can be mounted to a tripod, jib or wall bracket and it has a standard ¼” threaded hole in its base. A ¼” stud with locking wing nut is also supplied to enable the head to be mounted to a beam or Jib.
Control Box
The Hague Control Box has two variable speed control knobs which give the head a precision pan and tilt movement in either direction, from a slow crawl up to the required speed. You can also pan and tilt simultaneously. The head is powered by a rechargeable internal battery, which enables the power head to be used anywhere without the need of a power supply. Alternatively an optional external battery (ideal to have in reserve) or MA100 mains adaptor could be used to power the head.
On the back of the control box there are switches to change the direction of the control knobs and a socket for the control cable. On the side of the control box is an on/off switch, a battery charging socket and a 12vDC in socket. An led light on top of the box indicates when the unit is switched on. On the bottom of the control box are 4 non-slip feet to prevent it moving when it is used on a table and there is also a ¼” threaded hole in the base to allow it to be mounted to a tripod or any other mount that has a standard ¼” mounting screw. If used with a Hague Jib we do offer a mounting bracket that would allow the control box to be mounted to the crane.
Control Cable
A 7 metre cable is supplied to connect the control box to the head. Optional longer cables are available should you need to have the control box further away from the head.

The BCP Hague Balance Correction Plate is designed to help cameras which are not centrally balanced. It simply screws onto the base of the camera either pointing forward, backwards or to the side. There are then several mounting holes in the plate, choose one to correct the balance and then secure to the mount.
Unfortunately not all camera manufacturers put the tripod mounting hole at the centre of balance on the camera, which means the camera could be front or back heavy, or the mounting hole could be offset to the side on the camera. Larger batteries or a wide angle lens will also affect balance.
This can sometimes cause problems when the camera is mounted onto a support or tripod where it is preferred to have the camera equally balanced for stability. The Balance Correction Plate will correct this.

The Hague MA100 Powerhead UK Mains Adaptor is suitable for the Hague PH100 Powerhead. The mains adaptor simply plugs into the side of the control box to power the head continually, without the need to recharge the battery.

The Hague monitor and control box mounting bracket enables a monitor and the Hague PH100 or PH200 power head control box to be mounted to the Hague Jibs and Cranes K12/K14/K18. The bracket also has a mounting bar to accept a pan bar remote to control the functions of the camera.

The Hague K12 Multi Jib fastens to any sturdy tripod with a 100 or 75mm bowl or onto a Hague D3 Dolly. It is quick and simple to set up and can be used at three different lengths.
At it's standard or short length it will support up to 14kg and at it's longest length will support up to 9kg. A 100mm bowl enables you to fasten your video head from your tripod onto the jib, (an optional Stepper Ring is available if you are on the 75mm bowl system) or a pan & tilt power head can be used for remote operation.
Radial ball bearings ensure super smooth crane movement from ground level to almost 4 metres high and pan 360 degrees. Drag can be added to hold the arm at a set position. Standard bar weights or sand bags can be used as counterbalance.
