When mounting a camera to a ball head, video head, stabilizer, jib or crane, it helps if the camera's mounting hole is in the centre of balance. Unfortunately not all camcorder and camera manufacturers put the mounting hole at the centre of balance, which means the camera could be front or back heavy, or the mounting hole could be offset to the side. Larger batteries or interchangeable lenses will also affect the balance; this is particularly prevalent with Digital SLR cameras.
The Hague BCA Balance Correction Adaptor solves this problem, as the camera can be moved to the left or right to correct sideways balance and then one of the six mounting holes can be used to correct the balance of the camera from being front or back heavy. The adaptor can be used either way round and the camera plate can also be re-positioned to the left or to the right, giving even more adjustment if required.
It is also ideal for mounting DSLR cameras onto our range of jibs and cranes K1/2/8/9. DSLR cameras are wider than camcorders which can sometimes make them more difficult to mount to the camera plate of our jibs, especially when you are trying to attach cables for monitoring. The Hague Balance Correction Adaptor solves this problem as it allows the camera to be mounted further over to left or right, giving more clearance for cables etc. It also improves the balance, as the camera can be mounted further back to allow for the weight of the lens.

The Hague HCS Camera Steadicam Stabilizer is a handheld camera stabilizing system which has been specifically designed for video cameras and DSLR cameras.
